Terms of Use

Mama Ghana is an independent initiative operated by Goldenseal OÜ, a member of the Mama Africa AI network, offered to the people of Ghana and to Ghanaian institutions in a spirit of partnership. Contact: hello@mamaghana.org.

Anyone may speak with Mama Ghana for five free minutes without an account. Guest conversations are not saved. To continue, and to keep your conversation history, you create a free account with an email address and password, or with Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the activity on your account.

You agree not to use Mama Ghana to:

• break Ghanaian law or the law that applies to you;
• harass, defraud, impersonate or endanger any person;
• produce or spread disinformation, hate speech or sexual content involving minors;
• attempt to extract credentials, attack the service, or resell access to it.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Mama Ghana provides information, not professional advice. She does not give medical diagnosis, nor definitive legal, tax or financial rulings. Answers may contain errors or be out of date. Always confirm official fees, deadlines and procedures with the competent Ghanaian authority (NHIS, GRA, COCOBOD, GoldBod, WAEC, and so on) before acting.

When you use the microphone, your recording is sent to our AI provider for transcription and is not stored as audio. When you enable Mama's voice, her reply is turned into speech for playback. Both features require your explicit action each time.

You keep the rights to what you write. You grant us the limited right to process your messages in order to generate answers and to keep your history available in your account. You can delete a conversation at any time from the sidebar.

The service is provided "as is", without guarantee of availability or of fitness for a specific purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions taken on the basis of an answer that was not verified with the competent authority.

We may update these terms as the service grows. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. See also our cookie policy.
